GRUNDOMAT® Pneumatic Piercing Tools provide a proven trenchless solution for installing water, gas, sewer, electrical, and other underground utilities with minimal surface disruption. Designed for accurate horizontal boring, these compact pneumatic tools are ideal for installations beneath roads, driveways, sidewalks, landscaping, and other areas where open-cut excavation is undesirable.
GRUNDOMAT® tools feature a reciprocating stepped-cone chisel head that helps maintain the bore path while working through challenging ground conditions. They can perform bores approximately 50 to 150 feet in suitable displaceable soils, including sand, loam, and gravel, while simultaneously pulling new pipe into place.
